Expanding Child Care Options for Working Parents in North Carolina: State Policy Considerations
Duke Sanford’s Center for Child and Family Policy team created two policy briefs in collaboration with Smart Start of Transylvania County, with support from the Bainum Family Foundation and Home Grown.
These briefs explore how increasing public support systems for home-based child care providers could increase child care access for working class parents and lead to better outcomes for providers and families already utilizing these care arrangements.
