During this time of global crisis, NC DHHS has guidance and resources to support your business or child care center. We at Smart Start of Transylvania County are here to support our community, its youngest children and their families.

NCDHHS has partnered with the North Carolina Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) network to launch a hotline to provide child care options for children of all workers and those seeking work.

Families in need of child care in Transylvania County may call the CCR&R hotline at                  

                   1-888-600-1685

to receive information about local options for children from infants through age 12.                                      
The hotline is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
